Working with Garageband

At first we decided we would have a go at creating our own music to go with our trailer on Garageband because it may be easier to match the music with the scenes of the trailer so it would sound better with our own creation. After looking through the sound effects and short pieces of music on Garageband we have found that there is not a lot pieces that go with the thriller genre. Most of the music sounds quite upbeat which is not an ideology we are trying to create. We have played around with a few different sounds but we can't seem to find a piece that successfully portrays the codes and conventions of our trailer. We will now start looking at copyright free music sites for songs that match our trailer because if we find one we can continue to edit it on Garageband.
