As we are creating our own film institution we wanted to have the perfect name for it. In our group we have been thinking long and hard about what to call our institution and we have come up with the name M.A.D Productions. The 'M' stands for Mehveen, the 'A' stands for Abbie and the 'D' stands for Danielle. These are obviously the first initials of the members of our groups names which makes the name of the institution personal to us. The fact that our initials spell out 'Mad' is an advantage for us because we are making a horror film. The word mad can be associated with the horror genre.
The ideology that we want to create with our film institution is obviously scary and spooky but we would like it to have a modern, quirky edge to set it apart from existing institutions. This will also attract our audience towards the film because if it is fresh and new they may be enticed by it because it could relate to the age group that they are in. We will now have to create a logo so that our institution can be recognised.
