We have looked at many fonts that we may use for our institution logo that we will upload to the blog as soon as we have worked out how to edit them. From looking at other institution logos I have realised that some have animations whereas others don't. Also, most have sound effects like whooshing noises or loud dramatic sound effects to interest the viewer and grab their attention, which makes them recognise the institution.
This is something that we might include in our institution logo. Some companies even have pieces of music to accompany the logo. Companies like Universal and 20th Century Fox use the same sound effect and music every time so that it is recognisable and creates a consistent ideology. Whereas Paramount Pictures sometimes change the music that accompanies the logo, they change it to music that relates with the film. For example if it is a horror film the music will be spooky and scary and if it is a comedy it will have a lighthearted, happy tune to accompany it. Most of the time in Paramount Pictures films the music that starts at the beginning of the logo continues into the start of the film.
This is a technique that we could use with our film to relate the institution to the film more and entice the viewer from the beginning.
