Our Masthead

This is the masthead that we made for the front cover of our film magazine. We chose a dark coloured, bold, easy to read font because from our research and looking at film magazines, these are the kind of fonts that are used. It also makes our magazine recognisable because it stands out and can immediately be recognised. We created our masthead on Adobe Fireworks and used the highlight tool to make it look like there was a spotlight actually shining on the masthead. You can notice where this has been added when you look at the shading of the masthead. We will now add our masthead to Windows Publisher because this is what we are going to use to create our front cover as we find it soo much easier than using Adobe Photoshop which is just so confusing and irritating.
