Whilst discussing ideas for our film trailer, we decided to create a trailer for a horror film as we all agreed that this is most likely to be successful. We combined our ideas together and tried to come up with a story line that would satisfy the ideas that we had. We also discussed locations and our first ideas circulate around setting some of our film in a forest. Some other shots and ideas that we would consider including are:
- Blackout scenes
- Black and white scenes
- Voice over: a warning from a news reporter
- Point of view shot, hand held camera, running through a forest
- Point of view shots, blurred
- Extreme close up shots of character’s eyes
- Dramatic scenes
- Using spot lights to focus on one person
- Women screaming
- Tracking shot, someone being watched/followed
- Voice over to add tension
- Strange quotes, ‘ever had the dream where you try to run but you can’t
- Possible titles, Living in a Nightmare, Nowhere to Run
